1. A travelling technician, dedicated to supporting ICT in schools (cf. edtech).
  2. A school technology enabler.
  3. A service created by IBS Schools in 2003.
How the service works
How will your school benefit from the Peritech Service?

Each school has different requirements with varied quantities and complexities of ICT equipment. You decide how often your Peritech needs to visit to fulfil your school’s needs.

Our Peritechs are happy to help you to develop your ICT vision. They will talk through the issues you have currently and work out how to keep things growing and improving in the future, even on a budget.

Education Focus

Our technicians only support schools. They are used to working in the school environment around busy teachers and children.

Peritechs are part of the IBS Schools team, allowing them to share knowledge and ideas, get further support, and giving you easy access to all of our other staff, products, and services.

Peritechs are continually updating their skills and knowledge, allowing them to support all the latest technology schools are using.

Online Logbook

Our simple-to-use online system gives your staff one place to log the jobs they want your Peritech to work on and track them to completion, anytime, anywhere.

All of our Peritechs have full DBS clearance and receive regular training on Safeguarding.

Additional Support

Between visits, you can still contact your Peritech for help, advice and quick fixes, as well as using the IBS Schools Service Desk.

If your Peritech is ever off work, we make sure you are not left without support.

We aim to keep you with the same technician for as long as possible.  That way you get continuity, and the Peritech can become more productive.
